I've been really bad lately at updating this thing. I think winter and the short days are getting me out of my crafting habit. I was hoping to spend a bunch of time over the holidays making stuff, but I don't think I get in there once.

I just mounted some new sets I got in my last order, so hopefully those will inspire me to do something this week. I also just put in an order for some of the items that will be in the new catalog (it'll be out January 19th), and I can't wait to get those. I've also got my Love You Much kit sitting in my craft room just waiting for me. Hopefully I will use it soon!

Anyway, Happy 2009 to Everyone!Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14828407505260252917noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5434514559147521846.post-16514450255731724062008-12-19T19:21:00.004-05:002008-12-19T19:26:36.370-05:00On Your Birthday...

So, it's almost Christmas, and I should be posting Christmassy things, but here's a card I made last weekend for a friend's birthday.

I picked up those screw head brads somewhere, and I really like them on this card.

I'll try to be back sometime this weekend to post something else I've done, but if not, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!
Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14828407505260252917noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5434514559147521846.post-41961895268353335742008-12-17T21:10:00.005-05:002008-12-17T21:24:15.693-05:00Wow, Time Flies...Well, I've been pretty bad at this blogging thing lately. I actually have a ton of pics of different cards I've done, I just haven't had enough time to sit down and write up a post of any of them. Here's one of the reason's why :)

I sent off over half of them this morning, and still need to write in a bunch more and track down addresses.

I decided to keep it simple and just make a bunch of the same card that I blogged about awhile ago with different colour schemes.

Here's another pic

Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14828407505260252917noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5434514559147521846.post-35088485299617045692008-12-09T22:56:00.004-05:002008-12-09T23:04:03.175-05:00Finally, a new card!

I made this card last weekend and like it a lot. I'm not even sure why. I've done a bunch of cards and post-it holders, and I've even taken pictures of them. For some reason though, I haven't managed to post them :( I suppose I could blame the upcoming holidays, or the weather, or a million other things. I'll try really hard to get my act together tomorrow and post something.

G'night!Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14828407505260252917noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5434514559147521846.post-78630638195410983132008-11-26T22:22:00.004-05:002008-11-26T22:27:50.399-05:00Sew Glad We're Friends
I loved Puns From The Past the minute I saw it. I think the weather is throwing me off. Winter is definitely started/here, and I just feel really lazy. I have a bunch of cards I need to cut for next weekend too, so probably that isn't helping. If I go in my craft room and be crafty, I'll feel like I'm slacking on my cutting obligations :P This weekend won't be much help, I have a birthday party to go to on Saturday, and then Sunday we have tickets to the GREY CUP! Whoo! Go Als!!! Hmm, I just realized I need to make a card for the birthday party. Yay, something to do! :)Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14828407505260252917noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5434514559147521846.post-13494631858172469792008-11-15T11:45:00.003-05:002008-11-15T11:49:52.011-05:00Christmas Card Workshop - Card #7Ooops! I missed a few days here huh? It's been a bit of a busy week, and I haven't had a lot of time to post/craft. I love it! Here's a card I made last night, and I like it so much, I think I'm going to use it for my personal cards this year. Since the snowflakes were VersaMarked, I can do the same card with different backgrounds (I'm thinking Always Artichoke and Kiwi Kiss right now for other backgrounds).

I know yesterday I said I was going to be posting cards from my upcoming workshop for the next few days, but I didn't want to wait to post this one. I don't want to do it at the workshop though since I'm gonna use it myself :)

Oh ya, I used this die in my Cuttlebug since I don't have a Big Shot (shhh!). Yesterday I posted one, here's another (yes Chelle, you can use it too - I based it on one I found on SCS):

I love the Snow Swirled tree stamp, it's so pretty. I just stamped this in basic black to keep it simple for the workshop, but it would be really pretty embossed. I added some red stickles to the tree, and some turquoise ones to the swirls on the background.

Stamps: Snow Swirled (SU)

Ink: Basic Black (SU)

Paper: Michaels (trying to use up some old paper!)

Other: Stickles, silver ribbon, D'Vine Swirls embossing folder

Emilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14828407505260252917noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5434514559147521846.post-79527400191257009802008-11-05T22:33:00.003-05:002008-11-05T22:39:55.818-05:00Christmas Card Workshop - Card #1

Here's a card I came up with tonight for my Christmas card workshop.
